As the name suggests these are nails used generally for wood work, assembling or making furniture, wooden boxes, pallets etc. Anything to fasten wood, these nails are required. These nails are generally smaller in size as compared to common nails.
They are available in packing of 400 gms, 2 kg and 2.5 kg.
The sizes available are from 10 mm to 65 mm in thickness varying from 2.6 mm to 1.01 mm
Nails are available in size 50 mm (L) x 12 g (Gauge) and 65 x 11 are mainly used in wooden box industry.
The other sizes in sizes from 25mm (Length) to 45 mm in 14 g (Thickness) are used by carpenters to make furniture.
Furniture nails also constitute mainly of Panel Pins which are available from 10 mm to 40 mm in 17 g or 19 g. They are mainly used by carpenters to make furniture or pressing of ply or decorative veneers etc.
Nails available in 20 g are mainly used by photo frame makers.
Furniture nails are having Diamond point or long point and having a centred head though mostly they are headless and are having a good electro galvanised polish.
